I have found that each individual family has their own print size needs, so instead of rearranging print packages, they are now all a-la-carte. Of course I still offer full professional quality printed, coated and mounted print services a la carte, but I have decided to highlight digital package options instead.
On your CD there will also be a document full of lots of useful information on printing, including my preferred consumer level lab. There are two choices when it comes to your Digital Files. The main difference between them both is in the way I finish the files in my digital darkroom.
The Forever Files (Retouched)
These digital photograph files are presented at their absolute best and they are an investment in your families memories. The files are print ready up to 24″ side and afford you the most flexibility when deciding how to gift or display them in your home. Your CD will contain Retouched Images from your session in both high res ready for print and low resolution ready for web publishing. You will also receive a professional studio reference print 4×6 copy of each Retouched image.
The Everyday Files (Edited)
I understand the desire to have digital files for websites, emailing, and social networking. You will only be able to purchase Everyday files during mini-sessions and special themed sessions scheduled throughout the year. These digital photograph files are presented on a CD in a lower resolution for prints up to 5×7″ and web use only. The copyright notice will limit the photo labs to print only up to 5×7″. Please be aware, that since these images have minimal retouching and file preparation to these images, enlargements will be pixelated and not sharpened adequately for larger display sizes.
